World Series Tournaments, Inc.

The PONY League World Series is a 10-team, international youth baseball tournament located at Lew Hays PONY Field in Washington, Pennsylvania. The tournament features six domestic and four international teams of 13- and 14-year-old boys. Teams qualifying by advancing through PONY Baseball's levels of tournament play, including district, section, region, super region, and finally zone to earn a trip to the World Series. 

Since 1981, World Series Tournaments, Incorporated (WSTI) has been producing the PONY League World Series in its backyard of Washington, Pennsylvania. WSTI is a 501C3 nonprofit organization whose all-volunteer board prepares the event throughout the year, while countless hundreds of other volunteers provide the labor necessary to make the World Series a success on and off the field.



The partnership with PONY Baseball/Softball and Washington Youth Baseball, along with the volunteer/business support, helps assure the World Series’ annual return to Lew Hays Pony Field in Washington. The efforts of thousands of people combined each year enable WSTI to successfully present the PONY League World Series. While the specifics of the host organization has changed over the years, the World Series Chairmen have shouldered the primary responsibility for the successful presentation of the annual event.
