Congratulations on qualifying for the DICK'S Sporting Goods PONY League World Series! Now that you've qualified, we figured you might have some questions. Below are some frequently asked questions (FAQs) from coaches who are preparing to make their trip to Washington, Pa.

What information does my team need to provide?
Immediately after winning your zone, coaches must provide the following information:
Digital copy of team photo. The team photo can only include the players and coaches listed on your eligibility affidavit. Please also provide a listing of who is who in each row from left to right. This should be emailed to [email protected] and [email protected]

Uniform information. Please complete the uniform template and send to [email protected].

Player information for television. Please complete the player information for television template and send to [email protected].

Zone scores. Please send your zone tournament game scores to [email protected].

Travel information. International teams must provide flight information. Please email flight information to [email protected] and [email protected].

What uniform components are provided to my team?
Tournament officials will provide a helmet, pants, belt, socks, jersey, and hat for each player and coach. Teams must wear provided equipment. It is recommended that teams still travel with their full all-star uniforms in case of any shipping delays or other logistical issues. 

What documentation does my team need to provide?
Make sure your team travels with original copy of the eligibility affidavit, pitching record, medical release forms, membership certificate, proof of age (birth certificate), and accident/medical and liability insurance information.

Where can my team stay during our trip to Washington, Pa.?
Teams are required to book a minimum of five rooms in PONY-approved housing in order to qualify for their per diem. Please visit the hotel information page to book your rooms at discounted rates. 

How can I transport my team during my stay in Washington, Pa.?
International teams are transported by World Series staff members. Transportation for international teams will be provided to and from the airport and to and from all games and mandatory events. Transportation for international teams is only provided to players, coaches, and the interpreter. Anyone else traveling with the team must rent vehicles to transport themselves.

Domestic teams do NOT receive transportation. Contact G.G. & C. Bus Company (724-222-2320) to make arrangements or we recommend renting vans through Enterprise Rent-A-Car at Pittsburgh International Airport.

What events are mandatory for my team other than my team's games?
Teams are required to attend Fan Fest, the Pre-Tournament Meeting, the Skills Competition, Opening Ceremonies, the Champions League Game, and the Breakfast. Please view the fact sheet for more information on mandatory events.

Can my team practice during the week of the World Series?
Please contact Nathan Voytek ([email protected], 724-255-4826) to make practice arrangements. There will be NO practice on Lew Hays PONY Field and NO use of the batting cage at Lew Hays PONY Field. 

How does my team receive our per diem?
Teams, excluding host team and host area team, get $800 daily per diem until elimination by booking at least five rooms in PONY-approved hotels. Daily per diem can then be collected by an authorized team representative in the office of Dan “Moose” Brown, which is in the building behind the press box. Teams must pay their hotel bill before being eligible to collect per diem.

Who is allowed in the dugout?
Per PONY tournament rules, only 15 players and three coaches are permitted in the dugout. If a player or coach is not listed on your affidavit, they cannot be in the dugout. Any athletic trainers, scorekeepers, etc. that are not listed on your affidavit cannot be in the dugout. 

How can we watch the games?
All games are livestreamed on plws.tv. The livestream link will be activated prior to the tournament. Games will also be available to purchase as a download during the event and in the week after the event. 

How do we purchase tickets?
Tickets can be purchased using cash at the gate or using credit online. Please click here to purchase tickets online. Fans have the option to buy Series passes (Adult: $30, Youth 14U: $20) good for all World Series games, or daily passes (Adult: $8, Youth 14U: $5) good for one day admission.

How can we support the World Series? 
As an all-volunteer nonprofit, the World Series appreciates any monetary donations. Fans can support the World Series by joining our booster club or making a donation online at ponyworldseries.org/donate. All donations are tax-deductible.
